The play boasts a stellar cast of Ayesha Omar and Asfar Rehman in the lead, along with Asif Raza, Madiha Iftikhar, Adnan Siddiqui, Savera Nadeem and Ali Kazmi to name just a few; the fact that Kiron Kher appears in a major support role says a lot about the production. The story revolves around the present day clash of values and western influence with tradition, culture and extremist religious issues as well as the obsession with money, land and power. There are some well choreographed songs and dances as well as wedding sequences; there is the usual love, emotion, tragedy and lots of intense drama with dialogue by Haseena Moin and story and direction by veteran Rana Sheikh.
