What we do is what we receive! We expect from relations prevailing around us, whether its blood relation or the relation we create. Parents are considered to be the closest relation in whom we trust, have blind faith and therefore they held the up most position among all.
A parent in their later age expects a lot from their children from emotional to financial matters since they devote all their life for the upbringing of their generation. Unfortunately do not receive anything positive in return. In spite of being ignored, neglected and degraded, their hopes remain high as they do not want to accept the fact that they no longer hold a priority or a strong position anywhere in their children’s life. Parents still seek happiness ,support and respect and if they do not receive they still wait for everything to work their way , like Jamal’ s parents did , who waited all their life for their son to come back from city and then support them in every way . Jamal a dishonest, careless son no longer cares, respects and regards his parent dreams is completely lost in the glamour and only concerned about his own achievements and personal goals, Jamal moves ahead in life ignoring the fact that he has some important belongings and relations , his parents , … he gets himself educated and manages to become a successful pilot.
He also falls in love with an Indian airhostess “Sairaâ€, marries her promising to bring her to Pakistan as soon as the relations of both the countries will be smooth. Due to few disturbances between India and Pakistan Jamal couldn’t not call his wife in time and get married to another Pakistani girl “Aliaâ€. As a punishment for his shameful acts and sinful deeds, alia gives birth to a mentally retarded child. On the other hand his first wife Saira also had a baby girl, who later on goes to Pakistan to find her father “Jamal†after her mother’s death. When hopes are lost everything is lost! Everyone in every relation expects from each other, from nature and then themselves as well, waiting for a better tomorrow when our dreams and desires come true, few of us succeed in carving our future and few fail. But the time in which we wait is the most difficult task; this period is painful, impatient and disturbing giving sleepless nights and endless days. Rukhe Naina is a story about those dreaming and holding the strength fulfill them.
