This serial is a story of intricacies in human emotions of passion, sacrifice, lust, love and fate, which encompasses the lives of Sitara played by film star Saima and Sikander palyed by Sarmad Sultan Khoosat.
Piya Naam ka Diya is about exploring the inside out of the glamour world of showbiz. There is an attempt to reveal the deadly darkness and treachery behind the strong studio lights. The real faces beneath the thick layers of makeup and the real flesh and bones under the costumes. How hard do the showbiz people have to try to pull through the course of their lives which they otherwise are seen manipulating with, so conveniently on the screen.
